What is Boot Camp?
Boot Camp is a group workout designed to build strength and fitness through a various range of exercises. During my class you will get a taste of HITT (high intensity interval training), Circuit Training (a form of body conditioning that involves endurance training, resistance training and high-intensity aerobics), Resistance Loop Band Workout (targeting glutes and legs).
Every session is well planned so that the workouts are challenging, but can be adapted for beginners, meaning that nobody will feel left out!
The idea of creating an outdoor exercise group came to me after l became a mum. I was training in the garden with my sister, who had also recently had a baby. We were working hard to try to get back to our pre-baby shape! I found that training outside with somebody else was quite fun, and we were able to support each other throughout our fitness journey.
It was really nice and sociable doing something for ourselves, away from our babies, and getting fit at the same time.
That is why I feel it is important for me to make the Boot Camp a very positive experience, with each person feeling welcome, comfortable and happy to train in a group.
